Embassy Trip

Dear Students,

The Embassy trip was a great success. I appreciated your participation and questions during the sessions - you made your teachers very proud.

With that said, the following students have work to be accomplished if they want to receive a certificate.

Here goes:
1. Angel needs to write to Ms. Palumbo excusing himself from the field trip - it was not optional.
2. Roberto and Robert have already set time to make up their labs. Evelyn and Allen have not and need to do this by this Friday, December 17, 2010.

Finally, I would like a comment written on the blog site, number 1. thanking the embassy for their kindness and well organized sessions, and secondly, to note something that you learned. For example, "I really enjoyed going to the Embassy, thanks so much for the tour of the library and letting us know its availability to the public", or  "I appreciated the presentation from the Economic Officer (USAID), or the PAS officer (Alison Brown), or the Consular officer (Aaron Hahn). I learned that ..."

Have a wonderful Holiday. Your certificates will be available after the New Year.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2011!

Sincerely,

Christine Palumbo

News Alert!

Dear Law School Pilot Students,

Please say thank you to Mr. Del Moral who has decided to pay the bus fee for the van taking us to the American Embassy.

Octavio has supported this program from its beginning. Thank God for his help, and his encouragement to develop such a great undertaking for Law School pupils.

Warm Regards,
Christine

IMPORTANT Information

Dear Students,

First of all, you did a great job this week.  Thanks for being such deep thinkers and evaluating the experience of this program so eloquently. Your comments are posted below.

There are four students that must make up Lab Time by next Friday, December 17.  The contract that was signed stated that four hours of lab was a necessary component to complete. Congratulations to those students who finished that part of the course.

Allen, Evelyn, Robert Boyd, and Roberto did not compete Unit 11, Senior Mastery Program. This unit included four lessons on four sections which included: Listening, Vocabulary, Communication and Grammar plus a lesson quiz. Please arrange lab time as your schedule permits and complete this work.

Again, bring two dollars plus your cedula for our field trip on Wednesday. Also, if possible do not wear jeans, casual attire is ok, however no jeans. Also, please be at my office in CELI by 1:00 p.m, Wednesday, December 15.

Sincerely,
Professor Christine
